They say the best way to understand history is to ask questions to those who were there and lived through that time.

Today, we filmed at the Holocaust Memorial Center for a second time, this time with five Holocaust survivors that currently reside in Michigan: Rene Lichtman, Irene Miller, Edith Maniker, Fred Lessing, and Mania Salinger.

Our Shoah ambassadors, Hailey Callahan and Curtis Bates, got a chance to interview each survivor and hear the personal experiences from one of the world's darkest times in our history.

From these deeply personal interviews, Curtis and Hailey will continue a journey to help tell the story of the Holocaust for their younger generation.

We are so very thankful to the entire team at the Holocaust Memorial Center who helped orchestrate this very complicated, but critical filming with our elder survivors.

We are certain that this film will become an embraced documentary for our educational system, as well as our younger generation today.
